11DAYS / 09NIGHTS TURQUOISE OF SYRIA (DAMASCUS/PALYMRA/ALEPPO/HOMS/DEIR EZZOR/CRACK DES CHEVALIERS/MAALOULA) DAY 01 KUALA LUMPUR DAMASCUS Assemble a day earlier for your flight to Damacus via Dubai. DAY 02 DAMASCUS (D) Arrived Damascus and meet our representative and transfer to hotel for a rest. Freetime to explore and stroll in the old bazaars of Damascus and then to Qasioun Mountain. Overnight in Damascus. DAY 03 DAMASCUS (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Fullday tour of Damascus including the National Museum, Ommayad Mosque, Saladdin Mausoleum, Ananias Church, Citadel and the Souq. Begin your adventure in Damascus with an introduction to 5000 years of Syria’s earliest history at the national museum of Damascus. Your tour to Omayyad Mosque, Saladin Mausoleum, the straight street of Damascus, St Paul’s window & St Ananais Chapel. Lunch and dinner will be provided at local Restaurant. Overnight in Damascus. DAY 04 DAMASCUS/PALMYRA (B/L/D) Breakfast. Transfer to Palmyra, transfer for a full day visit to Museum of Palymra, the temple of God Bel the tomb, the national Museum ,Colonnade, Roman Theatre, Necropolis Museum. Continue the visit to the monumental arch of triumph contributed a master piece in the world of architecture, the viareeta, the theater, the agora & Dioltian camp. The under ground tombs of the valley of death. The castle of Ibn Maan is to be visited to see the sunset over-shadows Palymra. Dinner and overnight. DAY 05 PALYMRA/DEIR EZZOR (B/L/D) Breakfast. Today start with our visit to Dura Europos and Mari on the Euphrates Basin. Drive to Deir Ezzor. Lunch and city tour of Deir Ezzor. Dinner and overnight. DAY 06 DEIR EZZOR/RESAFA/ALEPPO (B/L/D) After breakfast, drive up stream then follow a side road to explore the city of Resafa, which poses a magnificent 5th Century churches. Continue our drive to Aleppo. A free time to stroll in the bazaar of Aleppo before going to the hotel. Overnight. DAY 07 ALEPPO /ST SIMEON (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. We will visit the attractive side of Aleppo the national museum the Islamic medieval citadel, the caravanserai, The Grand Omayyad Mosque, the public bath. Lunch in typical Aleppo Restaurant. Afternoon visit to St Simeon Cathedral. Back to hotel and overnight. DAY 08 ALEPPO/EBLA/APAMEEA/HAMA (B/L/D) Breakfast. Today’s drive takes you to visit the ancient city of Apameea, which one of the four cities founded by Seleucus 1 Nicator in the 3rd Century B.C. We will visit he cardo maximus, the Roman Residences, the Theater, the mosaic museum and the crusaders / Arab. On the way to visit Ebla, discovery of this kingdom fills an important gap in our understanding of the 3rd millennium BC. Hama is no doubt the highlight of today because of the music beauty os its waterwheels whose timelessness capture the imagination. After lunch in Hama, we drive through the desert. Check-in hotel. Overnight. DAY 09 HOMS/CRACK DES CHEVALIERS/MAALOULA (B/L/D) After breakfast, we leave Hama northward to Crac des chevaliers. “The most wholly admirable castle in the world, “as Lawrence of Arabia commented. Lunch is included after a fascinating visit to the castle. After lunch visit to the peaceful village of Maaloula, whose language is the Aramaic the very language of Jesus Christ. Dinner and overnight. DAY 10 MAALOULA/BORSA/AMMAN (JORDAN) (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Bosra and transfer to the border for your next destination to Amman, Jordan. Overnight in Jordan. DAY 11 AMMAN - free at leisure (B) Breakfast. Free at your own before transfer to airport for your flight home to Kuala Lumpur via Dubai. OPTIONAL 03D/2N JORDAN DAY 11 AMMAN (JORDAN)/JERASH (B/L/D) Breakfast. Today optional tour to JERASH. Jerash, located 48 km north of Amman and nestled in a quiet valley among the mountains of Gilead, is the grandeur of Imperial Rome being one of the largest and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. To this day, its paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theaters, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates remain in exceptional conditionThe Crusaders described Jerash as uninhabited, and it remained abandoned until its rediscovery in 1806, when Ulrich Jasper Seetzen, a German traveler, came across and recognized a small part of the ruins. The ancient city was buried in sand, which accounts for its remarkable preservation. It has been gradually revealed through a series of excavations, which started in 1925, and continue to this day. . Entrance to Mushata Castle and the Abu Darwish Mosque. Lunch and dinner will be provided. Overnight. DAY 12 PETRA (B/L/D) Breakfast. Full day tour to PETRA. Petra lies about 3-5 hours south of modern Amman, about 2 hours north of Aqaba, on the edges of the mountainous desert of the Wadi Araba. The city is surrounded by towering hills of rust-coloured sandstone which gave the city some natural protection against invaders. Entrance to SIQ. Once inside, the Siq narrows to little more than five metres in width, while the walls tower up hundreds of metres on either side. The floor, originally paved, is now largely covered with soft sand, although evidence of Nabataean construction can still be seen in some places. DAY 13 AMMAN /KUALA LUMPUR (B/L/D) Breakfast.
