10DAYS / 07NIGHTS HIGHLIGHT TURKEY (ISTANBUL/ANKARA/CAPPADOCIA/KONYA/PAMUKKALE/KUSADASI/TROY) DAY 01 ASSEMBLE AT KLIA AT 2200HRS
DAY 02 FRIDAY ISTANBUL (D) Arrival in Istanbul. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.
DAY 03 SATURDAY ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D) After breakfast drive to Ankara to visit The Ataturk Mausoleum - founder of the Turkish Republic. After lunch visit the well known Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations. An old bedesten has been beautifully restored and now houses a marvelous and unique collection and Roman works and showpiece Lydian treasures. Next transfer to Cappadocia , overnight.
DAY 04 SUNDAY CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D) After breakfast, visit the land of ancient volcanic and underground cities.. we will visit the incredible Underground City of Ozkonak where early Christians lived secretly in order to survive and keep their faith. And visit the Cavusin Church Then picture stops will be given at the valley of the birds and at the foot at the Uchisar Castle. Visit the famous local pottery atelier and carpet factory. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 05 MONDAY CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / PAMUKKALE (B/L/D) After breakfast proceed to Konya, visit the Selcuk caravanserai, which was built in 1299. Konya was the center of the Selcuk Empire as well as the center city of the Mevlana Museum. Continue to Pamukkale known as Cotton Castle where calcareous Thermal Springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertine' in the form of white Terrace and Basins This spectacular natural wonder is also in world heritage of UNESCO. And visit antique City of Hierapolis, founded by King Eumenes II of Pergamon and its name is derived from Hiera, the wife of King Telephos, the legendary founder of Pergamon. The city became subject to Rome in 133 BC.
DAY 06 TUESDAY PAMMUKKALE / EPHESUS / KUSADASI (B/L/D) After breakfast proceed to Selcuk to visit the House of Virgin Mary. The shrine of Virgin Mary enjoys a marvelous atmosphere hidden in the green. It is the place where Mary may have spent her last days.. After lunch our memorable visit to Ephesus – is considered one of the most important archaeological site in modern world of civilization. Some outstanding structures include are the library of Celcius, the Grand Theatre, Hadrian temple, Marble Street, Agora etc.
DAY 07 WEDNESDAY KUSADASI / PERGAMUN / TROY / CANAKKALE (B/ L/D) After breakfast visit Pergamum, the famous Acropolis sites. Visit Troy. Referred to in Homer's “Iliad” and “Odyssey”, Troy has in fact nine cities superimposed one upon another. Troy VI pertains to the famous Trojan war of Homer where the legendary heroes included Agamemnon, Achilles, Ulysses, and Nestor on the Greek side and Priam, Hector, and Paris on the Trojan side.
DAY 08 THURSDAY CANAKKALE / ISTANBUL (B/L/D) Continue our scenic drive to Istanbul, land of fascinating history and beauty. It is a metropolis of exquisite palace, magnificent mosques and museum of great interest. Visit Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Mosque) it is the only mosque with six minarets in the world and famous for magnificent interior paneling, Hippodrome Square; The former center of sportive and political activities of Constantinople where you will see also the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and Fountain of Willhelm II. Visit, St. Sophia Museum, the Holy Wisdom Temple, now known as the Ayasofya Museum, was an early Christian Church and later an Eastern Orthodox church which was transformed into a mosque in 1453 by the Turks, and converted into a museum in 1935., visit Topkapi Palace (treasury room included) the former imperial resident from where the great Ottoman Empire was once ruled. Today spectacular museum that has collections of Chinese porcelain and imperial Treasury included the world's biggest emeralds and diamonds! Then proceed to Covered Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) where is a maze of more than 4000 stalls and shops selling local products such as leather apparels, jewelry' souvenirs, handicrafts, pottery and ceramic wares, Turkish coffee and apple tea etc. It is a popular place for most visitors.. evening enjoy your dinner with the fascinating Belly Dance show.
DAY 09 FRIDAY ISTANBUL/ HOME (B/L) Morning after breakfast at hotel, we have a Bosphorus cruise which is an unforgettable excursion starts between two continents, Europe and Asia. And lunch. After lunch transfer to airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
